Someone may try to relate this to the sun flower that we looked at our last article, but the beauty of this one adds a touch of orange and yellow that no flower could possibly have. It brightens the entire scene and leaves everyone happy. This flower is one of those with a black center that gives it that eye like look.  

This flower is widely known for its power to attract nectar searching insects like bees, houseflies and birds as well. Which means that every time you take a cup of coffee or anything that has honey content in it, please feel free to say thanks to this flower in one way or the other?

Well, the very first reason as it why you need or you must have this flower somewhere near you is its beauty. You must first appreciate its beauty then you can look at other factors after you are satisfied with the way it looks. Like we saw briefly earlier on, this flower comes in those two most bright colors in the worlds. Its petals have a yellow and orange color composition, which gives it a sun shine kind of look. I can’t forget to share with you the fact that this flower has a black center with a slight purple color touch which gives it a magic eye kind of look.

This very flower can grow normally up to the height of 3.5 feet above the ground and is not resistant to cool weather. This flower has a very good scent which makes it a source of attraction to nectar searching creatures and definitely, it will leave your place smelling all fresh the moment you embrace it and decide to have it in your home environment.

There are very many points where one can surely plant this, it will mostly depend on the position of your house and where you intend to position your home flower garden. I would recommend that you plant this flower in a position that’s not so much exposed to direct sunlight and mind to give it a lot of watering. Scientifically known as the Helianthus Annuus, sunflower is one of those flowers so beautiful that it reflects the true image of the sun and shines across our faces, makes us pull those smiles and brightens our environments. I couldn’t find anything better to share with you today other that such precious and beautiful flower.

What piece of flower are we looking at today?

Greetings from the protectmytrees.blogspot.com blog management, as we get to midweek, I decided to share something special and beautiful with the world. This flower has been neglected most of the time yet it is one of the prettiest flowers one can ever come across. 

This flower is scientifically known as the Helianthus Annuus, but in our local and common language, we prefer to call it the sun flower. This flower derives its name from its beautiful looks. The truth is that this flower looks exactly like the sun indeed. We could not find any better name for this flower than sun flower. Leave alone the brightness it adds to an environment, this sun flower is not just a flower, it also serves other purposes as we shall see in on or two sections ahead. 

I have this friend that I normally refer to as my Ex; this girl enjoys this flower, during the days when we were still an item as people normally put it, she could take more than ten minutes just staring at this flower, she believed it was a pain and stress reliever, a thing I never truly believed, may be it is true, try it out and see.

Why should someone plant the sun flower in his flower garden?

There are very many reasons as to why one should think about planting this flower, first of all, the beautiful yellow color and brightness that this flower adds to your home environment is unbelievable. Then the flower scent that this sun flower produces leaves you widening your nose every time wind blows from the garden direction to your direction.

Adding or to why one should look for this flower and have it in his or her flower garden, this flower can as well act as food which is very nutritious to your body and your entire family in this case. It is believed that the sun flower seeds contain high nutritious value in themselves. Actually, these sun flowers are being grown on a large scale for industrial purposes. 

This sun flower of ours is a raw material what we know as sun flower oil, the type of cooking oil that is known by many as cholesterol free cooling oil, which is definitely one of the most healthy oils one can find.

 Nothing beats that feeling we used to have in childhood of seeing these sun flower plant grow from the time they get out of the soil, to the point when we were the same height and then to the point of seeing them grow taller and bear that beautiful sun flower.

Where should one plant this sun flower?

The place where one should plant this flower in his household depends on a number of issues. First of all, you need to know that this flower depends so much on sunshine in order to grow properly up to the level of flowering. So in this case, I would recommend the eternal flower or home crop garden with some good soil, and a significant amount of sunshine as a good place. 

Don’t forget about the fact that in order to grow well, every plant requires a significant amount of water.

First of all, let me convey my humble and sincere greetings to you my dear blog readers, you surely give me the motivation to keep making more research about flowers so that I can avail you with the best of the articles as far as this blog is concerned. 

Today being a Sunday, I couldn’t help but write about one of the prettiest flowers with the perfect colors that one needs to look for this week.

This job is rather hectic because it involves a lot of time researching but the time is worth it when my beloved blog readers finally get what they are looking for. I also feel much honored when I learn that more than eight thousand people have had a chance to benefit from my research and writing about house and home flowers.  I should clap for myself probably.

Today, it was a start of the English premier league football season and one of the so called big teams lost to another so called big team, this flower will help cool your friend or wife or husband down in case he or she is one of the fans of the losing side. The purple color that comes with this type if flower can easily do the magic and before you know it, the person who was all sad and stressed because his team started on a bad note will be up and smiling with the rest of the people in the house.

Just like any other flower, this flower is also not a kind of flower that goes well with very hot sand direct sunshine, try as hard as you can to limit the amount of sunshine that gets to it, else, you will not like the outcomes when you expose it to too much direct sunshine.

What is the flower of the day today?

The Christmas cactus is one of those special and rare flowers that one should have in their household. 

We have looked at several and in fact many flowers since the creation of this blog, but believe me, we have not had a look at a flower of this quality and beauty. All that put aside, where else could you find a flower named Christmas? This was my very first time to come across it and I could not do anything better than sharing it all with you my very wonderful blog readers. 

Some of you have been wondering and asking me why I have been off writing for them great articles about home decor flowers. The truth is, I give myself a vacation within which I was doing all that I could in terms of research to make sure that at the end of the day, we have great and well researched content on out great nature, home decor and gardening blog.

I came across this flower when I visited a friend in one of the suburbs of Kampala city in Uganda, Ntinda to be specific. This lady is a great flower lover and she is one of the people that inspired me to consider and start authoring articles about these great natural pieces called flowers. For what this flower is about, please refer to the following portions of this article and see what’s special about it, why you should have it at least once in a life time and where best one can place and plant this flower.

What makes this flower a special one?

I know some of you sometimes think that there is nothing you can actually take care of, but a here to tell you that it’s not like that anymore. This Christmas Cactus flower is one of those flowers so beautiful that even the laziest person in the house would like to wake up very early in the morning and take care of it, give it water and then watch it blossom.

This flower drives its name from the days when it flowers brightly which is Christmas time, it blooms during that period and trust me, and you will have a great beauty to use as one of your Christmas decor flowers and trees. In-fact, some people believe that this flower gives the good luck considering the fact that they are always available during the holy season of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am not one of such people though, I rarely believe in superstition.

Why should one choose this flower out of the thousands of flowers?

There are several reasons why I would recommend this flower for panting in your home or having it in your home flower gardens. First and foremost, this flower represents love and it brings a touch of love in your home or household. It’s very bright red flowers bring nothing but Joy every time a person stares at it and since most of us know red as the love color, you know what I mean here.

Secondly, for all the different types of flowers that I have shared with you my great blog readers and followers, I have not shared with you a flower that you can use in a particular season, the Christmas cactus is a great home Decor flower when it comes to that period of the birth of our Lord and Savior.

Where best can one flower lover plant or lace this Christmas cactus flower?

There are different positions in your house where you can place this flower and it gives you that very good and astonishing look. On that window that is facing the sunset direction, or the sunrise direction window may both be great positions when you are looking for where you can place this flower in your house. Anyway, feel free to place this flower in various positions and the position that gives you the best look in regard to your home’s decor is the best for you.

In conclusion, as I always do, I implore you to kindly and willingly take the message of planting more trees and protecting the available natural environment seriously. We could not be having anything as beautiful as these flowers like the Christmas cactus if our great grandparents had not taken good care of the environment.

Our universe is at stake, we are having a lot of diseases and famine all as a result of climate change. The chemicals that we burn on earth produce a lot of carbon, and without enough trees to suck all of it up, it goes up in the skies and destroys what we call the Ozone layer, the layer which filters the sunshine that we receive on planet earth, I hope you can now see the Danger that is heading our way if we surely do not do the needful to protect our hoes and the entire universe from these dangers.

I have tried so hard to use the beauty that this great nature provides to us as we see and use in our households, so that at least we can see the great need to advocate for more and more efforts to be added in the fight and battle of environmental protection.

Flowers are one of the few beautiful pieces of nature that I have tried to do a lot of research about, we use these flowers every day in our homes for decor purposes and without them, the whole place would be looking messy. Leave alone the touch of color that these flowers add to our hoes and living environments, they also have that scent, actually we have millions of deodorants whose scent was derived from the million dollar scents of flowers. Remember that flowers are just one example; there are other millions of things that we get from nature, take an example, food, something that we can never live without, plus a lot more.

If I start talking about the beauty of our great nature and environment, I may even take a whole year typing, but for the time being, let us all do what we can possibly do and participate willingly in drives that are meant to promote the protection of our natural environment.

You actually do not need to wait for anyone to start the campaign, you can be the pioneer of this campaign in your neighborhood, and before you know it, the whole world is following your example and doing all that they can to plant more trees and to preserve all the nature that exists in their homes and environment.

Flower for your home environment July round up.

Greeting ladies and gentlemen tonight is a great night given the fact that our beautiful nature and flower blog is more than one month old. This is all because of your continuous readership and support that you have shown all the way from the first day that I took the initiative to create the protectmytrees blog.

What are we looking at today?

Today being the first day in the month of August, I prefer to take a look back at what we shared in the month of July. We shared a lot as far as home decor flowers are concerned, so I would like to review them as we look forward to more beautiful and great articles about flowers in our home environments.

I remember when we clocked fifteen articles, I took a break and wrote about our journey as a blog back then that basically means that today, and I am going to review a few flowers that we shared since then. We have had a number of them and the response and viewership has been very good I should say.

We have seen different flowers and I would like you my great blog follower to help me and vote for what you think has been your greatest article so far. This will help me in a way or another as i try so hard to put more and research work together to build more great and interesting articles that are to be featured on this blog.

Getting back to today's topic, let us look back at the flowers that we recently shared.

We had a look at what I dubbed as the flowerless flower which really pulled a lot of attention. It’s so interesting to see a simple collection without any visible flowers competing and taking a place in the flowers environment.

Thereafter, we took some time to research and we came back with an article about one of the most popular and most loved flowers of all time, the great Hibiscus lower. So beautiful it is, as it comes in different colors, our readers were encouraged to seek for the color that best describes their desires.

The Oxalis Clover, one of the plants that we used to take as weed in our fathers’ plantations turn out to be one of those very beautiful home decor flowers that one should put on his or her must have list of flowers. You need to be so careful with this one though, since it can easily turn into a dangerous weed in your gardens.

At that point, we looked at the Fuchsia flower, very beautiful and it received amazing viewership across the globe. Then I shared with you an article about Succulents, these desert plants are amazingly beautiful, they add a dry touch in a wet environment, something that is rare with most home decor flowers.
